MISSION
STATEMENT
At Lions Arise, we are dedicated to facilitating holistic healing within the body of Christ. Our mission is twofold: to foster connections with like-minded individuals and organisations committed to promoting wholeness and to empower individuals to embrace their identity in Christ and experience transformative healing.

We believe in the power of integrity, honesty, and compassionate love as guiding principles in all we do. Through our example and our resources, we seek to guide others in understanding their true identity and purpose in Christ.
​
We offer a range of services, including networking opportunities, counselling, self-development resources, and godly enlightenment materials. Our commitment to a word-based integration ensures that all our offerings are grounded in biblical principles.
​
Our ultimate aim is to equip the body of Christ to experience fullness and wholeness, enabling individuals to receive healing and become life-giving sources of hope and restoration to others.
BELIEF
STATEMENT
We firmly believe in the triune God as revealed in the Bible – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I acknowledge God as the one true God, sovereign over all creation, and the source of all life and goodness (Isaiah 45:5; John 17:3).

We affirm Jesus Christ as the resurrected Savior, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). Through His death and resurrection, He offers salvation to all who believe in Him, providing forgiveness, redemption, and eternal life (Romans 10:9-10).
​
We trust in Jesus as the healer of all – spirit, soul and body. His power to heal is demonstrated throughout the Gospels and continues to be active today (Luke 4:18; Matthew 8:16-17).
​
We rely on the Holy Spirit, who indwells every believer, guiding, empowering, and transforming us into the image of Christ (Romans 8:9; 2 Corinthians 3:18). The Holy Spirit equips us with spiritual gifts for the edification of the body of Christ and the advancement of His kingdom (1 Corinthians 12:4-11).

We are committed to the expression and operation of the gifts of the Spirit, believing that they are essential for the building up of the Church and the manifestation of God's power and love in the world (1 Corinthians 14:12; Ephesians 4:11-13).

Our faith is anchored in the Word of God, and we are dedicated to living out these beliefs through our words, actions, and relationships.

Being a late bloomer in terms of totally understanding and walking out the purpose and destiny of Christ in my life, I went through a number of situations and trying circumstances that led me to where I am today. I am well acquainted with trauma and the effects of trauma on our lives. It was these trials and tribulations that birthed the desire to live out my destiny scroll as God designed and predestined it before my birth according to Ephesians 1:4-5 " Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will".
In an encounter with the Spirit of the Lord in 2007, a very pivotal year in my journey, I was instructed to help the people of God by bringing knowledge to them that will help them claim their inheritance. The Lord left me with this verse at the end of the encounter: Hosea 4v6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children".

This started my journey of seeking God for how I was to facilitate this process because He wanted me to bring this knowledge and keep His word at the forefront of what I do so that others can also receive and live their lives the way He designed us to. This will also bless the next generation. In my encounter with the Spirit of the Lord, He took me to a place where I saw generations of treasure stored up. This treasure was unclaimed because of the lack of understanding and knowledge to claim this inheritance.

As a counsellor, I have had the privilege of working with many individuals from diverse backgrounds. Working mostly with trauma, it became very prevalent to me that the enemy had a very specific plan aimed at the attack on our identity in Christ. Although he used differing methods for causing trauma in the lives of individuals, it pretty much came down to stopping them from rising up into their God-given and purposed destiny. It stopped them from claiming what was rightfully theirs. Lions Arise is a platform to help individuals realise who they are in Christ, how the enemy has tried to trap them and keep them bound, and, most importantly, to help them rise up and out of that place of oppression into the marvellous light of Christ. To take their place in the Kingdom of God.
