Chapter 18 - Places of Captivity Places of captivity are places of bondage, captivity and torment. This is often found in the realm of the spirit. At the end of this chapter, you will be able to identify places of captivity in your life that you may need to deal with. Captivity can occur due to generational transference, sin and trauma. God can also put us into captivity to deal with things in our lives if we refuse to address them. Sometimes, it can feel like we are in a place of captivity as God walks with us through things in our lives that need to be cleaned up or brought into alignment with His will for us.
