When we do not pay attention to our bodies, our bodies will speak to us through tension, aches and pains, sickness and disease. However, by being self-aware and mindful of our body state, we can take control and help our bodies repair and heal. This is achieved through practising self-care, managing our stress and being kind to our bodies. This program is structured to guide you through a series of somatic exercises and tools aimed at helping you release trauma and negative emotions stored in the body. Over the course of this program, you will learn various techniques to enhance your mind-body connection, manage stress, and improve your overall emotional health. As you start this program, you will be given the opportunity to take a quiz that will help you identify somatic stress and areas you need to focus on. This will cover physical and mental states, behaviour, awareness and coping, grounding, emotional, and self-care. You will find printable PDF documents in this program that include: A 43-page somatic workbook for you to work through as you navigate this program to help you with somatic release. A 28-page somatic experiencing reflection journal. A mini somatic journal to record your daily observations concerning your emotions. 4 x self-care journal worksheet templates to choose from as a daily journaling opportunity for self-care.
