The Take Up Your Space Church / Community course provides skills development for pastoral or lay counsellors within ministry settings. This program offers valuable training for leaders, lay counsellors, and small groups engaged in community work, equipping them to effectively address trauma.

By providing participants with comprehensive training and practical tools, this program equips individuals to address trauma effectively while upholding ethical standards and safeguarding the well-being of those they serve.
THE PROCESS:

REQUEST GROUP TRAINING
Request group training for your church/ community, and our team will provide a personalised group price list and options for purchasing the manual and workbook. With a minimum requirement of 8 individuals for group sessions, the collective support of your community makes this an accessible option to train your team.

SELECT A COURSE
Select your desired option from our range of offerings, including the completion certificate, coaching course, or facilitator course. Additionally, you can order the desired number of copies of the manual and workbook to facilitate your training journey. It's important to note that the manual and workbook are essential tools for all training sessions.

SCHEDULE A DATE
Schedule a date for the 3-day intensive training to take place, either online or in person, based on your preference. To ensure smooth coordination, all members participating in the training will need to be registered via a form, which will be conveniently sent to the training host. This step ensures that everyone is prepared and accounted for, maximising the effectiveness of the training experience.

Becoming a coach or facilitator grants access to the Lions Arise referral network, enabling collaboration with Lions Arise and ministry partners. TUYS Coaching Community
Facilitators and coaches enjoy ongoing support within the TUYS Coaching community through various avenues. They have access to mentors who provide personalized guidance and advice, helping them navigate their coaching journey effectively. Additionally, facilitators are part of a group where they can freely ask questions, share insights, and mentor others, contributing to a collaborative learning environment. The community hosts a yearly gathering designed for networking opportunities, allowing coaches to establish valuable relationships within the ministry.
