It is really time to get out of the religions and traditions than have been imposed upon the body of Christ through the religious church system. We need the revelation that we are the Church. What is the Church? The Church is God's people. It is the gathering of the believers in Christ. The building only facilitates assembling together, the giving of the word, the worship and fellowship.
But His Word says in 1 Corinthians 3v16 that we are the temple of God. Do you realise that Jesus Christ dwells in you? In 2 Corinthians 13v5 Paul ask the Corinthian believers, “Or do you not realise about yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you?”
2 Corinthians 4v6-7 says, “Because the God who said, out of darkness light shall shine, is the One who shined in our hearts to illuminate the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellency of the power may be of God and not out of us.” We are the earthen vessels that contain the treasure that is Christ.
Galatians 2v20 “I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”
We need to stop living with a defeatist mentality and realise what we have inside of us. We are not victims - we are overcomers in Christ. Inside of us we have all we need to overcome the enemy.
Colossians 1v13, "He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us (transferred us) into the Kingdom of the Son of His love". If that is our kingdom - why are we living as slaves to this world and its systems and religious traditions? Christ came to give us freedom in Him. Let us live that way so we may live lives of victory that are pleasing to Him.
Continue to press into Him to reveal what it means to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the light (Colossians 1v13).
