This morning I was reading Isaiah 53 and felt inspired to write something. I pray it blesses and encourages you.
How Fragile
How fragile are the hearts of the tender child or adult
How easily broken and wounded when others carelessly regard them.
How fragile is the self when perceptions have been distorted through pain, hurt and abuse.
How easily broken and wounded is the esteem and worth when others carelessly regard the feelings of others.
How fragile the body when it’s had to bear the weight of pain, hurt, abuse and stress.
How easily broken and wounded it becomes when it is carelessly regarded by ourselves.
How fragile the spirit of man when we have suffered.
How easily broken and wounded when carelessly regarded by others and ourselves.
How fragile we are so easily broken and wounded.
But how wonderful our Saviour was when He bore our griefs and carried our sorrows.
How wonderful He was when He was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities.
How fragile He became for us, the chastisement for our peace upon Him.
His body broken and wounded for our healing.
How wonderful our Saviour who poured out His soul unto death, numbered with transgressors bearing the sin of many and making intercession for the transgressors.
How fragile we are when we cannot accept His loving sacrifice.
How broken and wounded we stay when we cannot see He did it all for us.
How wonderful would it be if we embraced His wonderful gift to us?
How wonderful if we could walk in all He made available to us.
Shall we not prosper and be justified?
No longer fragile, no longer broken and wounded
But restored, redeemed and healed
How wonderful is our Saviour!
Be blessed today in the mighty name of Yeshua!
